This article walks through steps to export a solution from an ACP study into a Revit project. --- ## ![Menu options for exporting segments and proposing routes in a software interface.](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/export.png)Export the solution You can export a solution by following the steps below: 1. [Launch ACP](/v1/docs/launching-and-logging-into-acp) from the Revit project the solution will be exported to. 2. In the **Projects** tab, open the ACP Project, and then the study where the solution you want to export is generated in. 3. In the Model Viewer, click the ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-IFXP57VI.png) **Menu** button. 4. From the options, hover over ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-PDF17U0U.png) **Export to Revit** then select ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-WDCBQUFY.png) **As System Conduit**. - This initiates the export into your Revit project. Minimize the ACP window to view the export’s progress within Revit. - If worksharing is enabled for your Revit project, the exported conduit solution will be assigned to the [ACP - Conduit Export workset](/v1/docs/about-items-created-during-initialization#workset) which is created during project initialization. - By default, this workset is not **Visible in all views**, allowing you to select the view(s) where the exported solution should be visible. - When you export a solution, the active view’s visibility settings are automatically overridden to **Show** this workset. 5. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/overridden workset.png)*(Optional)* To make the solution visible in other views, override the **Visibility Setting** of the ACP - Conduit Export workset to ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-D189LL13.png) **Show** in the view’s Visibility/Graphic Overrides. > [!NOTE] > ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/C2.png)![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/visible in all views.png) ***PRO TIP:*** > > > > *To make the exported solution(s) visible in all views:* > > 1. *Navigate to the* ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-5ERA1L9Y.png) ***Collaborate*** *tab.* > 2. *In the Manage Collaboration panel, select the* ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-JMNVD8MV.png) ***Worksets*** *tool.* > 3. *In the Worksets window, select the checkbox for the ACP - Conduit Export workset under the* ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-TXV48ZH8.png) ***Visible in all views*** *column.* > 4. *Select* ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image-BCV4MN6P.png) ***OK****.* > [!NOTE] > ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/C1.png) *Multiple solutions can be exported into a single Revit project.* > > - *When you use the* ***Select Generated Elements*** ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/select raceway(3).png) *tool to select a solution, it will launch the* [*ACP Inspect Solutions*](/v1/docs/reviewing-a-solution-in-a-revit-view#select) *panel where you can select or isolate the elements of a solution.* --- ## After Export ACP doesn’t copy geometry into Revit. Instead, it rebuilds the ACP conduit solution using the [**ACP - EMT Conduit**](/v1/docs/about-items-created-during-initialization#acpemt-conduit) type created during [project initialization](/v1/docs/initializing-a-revit-project). The ACP properties of each component element of the solution are populated based on the ACP schedules and study information. ACP provides the following tools to help with the post-export review and modification process. - [ACP Conduit Run Schedule](/v1/docs/working-with-the-acp-conduit-run-schedule) - Allows you to easily review and modify the parameters of each raceway. - [Edit tools](/v1/docs/edit-conduit-tools) - A set of tools in the ACP Revit add-in which allows you to visually identify, select, and modify the solution and/or parts of it. > [!NOTE] > ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/C2.png)***PRO TIP:*** *While working with the exported conduit solution, you may choose to convert the conduit system type to other conduit types. To ensure conduit runs continue to appear in the* ***ACP Conduit Run Schedule****, we recommend converting to a system type within the* ***Conduit without Fittings*** *family.* Short for the **Augmenta Construction Platform** A collection of user-provided data in an ACP project, from which twelve optimal solutions are generated to evaluate and refine various design scenarios. The main organizational unit in ACP where user-provided data for studies are imported, stored, and managed, and where routing solutions for the Raceway(s) are generated based on those studies. ## Related - [Initializing a Revit project](/initializing-a-revit-project.md) - [About items created during initialization](/about-items-created-during-initialization.md) - [About standard bend angles](/about-standard-bend-angles.md)
