For most organizations, Revit projects are already connected to a Shared Parameters file. This guide explains how to check and add a Shared Parameters file if one has not already been connected to the Revit Project. --- ## Connect a Shared Parameters file ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/image(282).png) 1. Check with your content manager to be sure.* > [!NOTE] > ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3db99144-2736-4654-a3ba-1aa2e78ddb2a/Images/Documentation/C1.png) *If Read/Write access to the Shared Parameter file is restricted, the Content Manager for your organization may need to be the first to initialize a project. This will ensure the correct Shared Parameters have been written to the shared parameters file. This will continue to be true each time the ACP Add-In is updated, and the project need to be reinitialized.* Short for the **Augmenta Construction Platform** ## Related - [Initializing a Revit project](/initializing-a-revit-project.md)
