Navigating the Schedule Viewer

Prev Next

The Schedule Viewer in an Interactive Study displays the ACP Schedules, and allows you to work with the schedule data:

  • Conduit Schedule - Specifies the Run ID, Source, Destination, and System for each raceway. It also references the Feeder ID in the Feeder Schedule.

    • Raceways may be scheduled with Source and/or Destination elements that aren’t placed in the Revit project yet. The Schedule Run tool may be used to place these elements in the Revit project from the Conduit Schedule.

  • Feeder Schedule - Lists conduit size and number of parallel runs for each Feeder ID.

This article covers the controls in the Schedule Viewer, and the columns in the Conduit and Feeder Schedules.

Schedule Controls

The Schedule Controls in the Schedule Viewer allow you to easily work with the schedule data.

  • Schedule Toggle - Switch to the Conduit or Feeder schedule in the study.

  • Status Bar - Displays the number of raceways in the schedule, as well as the number or warnings or errors.

Manage data

  • Import - Import schedule data either from a previously used schedule in the ACP project or a CSV/XLSX file.

  • Export - Export the schedule data into a CSV file.

  • Add new row - Adds a new row to the bottom of the schedule.

    • When adding a new row, double-clicking under columns with values which may be repeated shows a dropdown options of possible values.

  • Search - Searches through the entire schedule for any entry that matches the entered text.

    • The Search function in the Note column only looks under the column.

  • Select row(s) - Allows user to select one, multiple, or all Run IDs/Rows within the schedule. Once selected, users can do the following:

    • Duplicate Runs: Creates a duplicate of the selected row(s).

      • Duplicated rows copy the original Run ID or Feeder ID and automatically increment the last character by one step. For example, RUN-1 becomes RUN-2, or FEEDER-A becomes FEEDER-B.

    • Delete Runs: Delete the selected row(s) from the schedule.

    • Modify a field: Update any of the data of a selected row(s).

      • When multiple rows are selected in a schedule, any modification in one of the selected fields will automatically apply to all selected rows.

  • Move row - Click and drag the row to a different location within the table.

  • Sort - Sorts all rows in the table by either the ascending or descending order of the column’s values.

  • Filter - Enables users to filter the table view based specific rows in the list based on selected values in the column.

Integration

  • Link to element - Appears when hovering over a Source or Destination in the Conduit Schedule. When clicked, the active window switches to the linked Revit project with the corresponding element highlighted.

Route
Status

Displays the routing status of each raceway in the Conduit Schedule.

  • Run not active - The Active toggle for the raceway is disabled.

  • Not routed / Error / No route found - The raceway route hasn’t been created, or an error is preventing routing.

    • The data causing the error will be flagged. Click the flag to view details of the error or warning and how to resolve it.

  • Routed - A path between the raceway’s Source and Destination has been created either by manually drawing the segment or by accepting the Proposed Route.

  • Proposed Route Found - When Propose Segments is enabled in the Model Viewer and ACP is able to find a path between the raceway’s Source and Destination, its status in the Conduit Schedule will be Accept Proposed Route. Clicking this status accepts the suggested route for the raceway.

    • Selecting the column header accepts all available Proposed Routes.

Run ID

Unique identifier for each row representing a specific source and destination between which conduit should be run.

Any unique combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.

ACP will auto-step the next row based on the last digit of the previous Run ID.

  • IE: If the previous Run ID was HR-1, the next Run ID will automatically be named "HR-2”
(This value may be manually edited at any time)

Source

The name of Electrical Equipment (Panel Name) or Electrical Fixture (ACP_E_Fixture ID) where the conduit originates.

A dropdown list populated by Electrical Equipment and Electrical Fixture elements in the active Revit project.

Destination

The name of the Electrical Equipment (Panel Name) or Electrical Fixture (ACP_E_Fixture ID) where the conduit terminates.

A dropdown list populated by Electrical Equipment and Electrical Fixture elements in the active Revit project.

System

Identifies the power system associated with the conduit
Run ID.

Any combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.

This input may also be used in the ACP process to assign a system scope to  Design Rules.

Feeder ID

References the Feeder ID from the Feeder Schedule, to provide ACP the number of Parallel Runs and the Conduit Size for each Run ID.

The Feeder Schedule must be correctly populated prior to assigning the Feeder ID, as this column is a dropdown list populated by the Feeder ID column in the Feeder Schedule.

Note

A field for capturing additional information related to the Run ID.

This can include grouping information or study-specific context.

This field may be left blank.

Active

Determines if a Run ID should be routed within the current ACP study.

  • On , the routing status of the Run ID will be tracked as you create raceway routes within the study.

    • When Propose Routes is enabled, ACP will try to find a path connecting the Source and Destination.

  • Off , the routing status of the Run ID will not be tracked and will only be displayed as Run not active.

Additional Notes

Feeder ID

A unique identifier for each set of feeders to be installed.

Any unique combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.

Parallel Runs

The number of conduits that will run in parallel between the source and the destination to carry the required feeders.

Any positive integer.

Conduit Size

The nominal diameter of the conduit(s) used to carry the set of feeders from the source to the destination.

Choose from the pre-programmed drop-down list of ACP-supported conduit sizes.
