The Push Properties tools provides a streamlined, automated way to update conduit properties, ensuring that all segments and fittings within a run maintain consistent information. When a Conduit Run is modified within Revit, the associated properties do not automatically update. This often requires manual entry to maintain accuracy and consistency across the entire run. These tools remove the need for manual entry and work for both ACP-generated conduit exports and manually modeled conduit in Revit.
This guide provides a step-by-step overview of how to use the tools to update and synchronize conduit run data.
Push properties to conduit runs
Use this option when a conduit run has been modified in the model and some properties are missing from individual conduit segments or fittings. This tool pushes the correct run data to all parts of the run and updates the schedule to restore consistency.
In the Revit ribbon, navigate to the
Augmenta tab.
Select the
Push Properties dropdown in the Other Tools panel
Select the Push Properties to Conduit Runs button
In any Revit view, select a
single segment from one or more conduit runs that are missing complete property data.
Select
Finish to apply changes
This updates the Conduit Run in the schedule, along with its associated conduits and fittings, to match the selected conduit's parameter values.
Or select
Cancel to exit from the tool with no changes.
If you select more than one conduit or fitting within a single run, the Conduit Run Properties
Pusher tool will return the following error.
Push properties to conduits and fittings
Use this option when a conduit run has been modified in a schedule, and you need to push those values back to individual conduit segments & fittings.
In the Conduit Run Schedule, select one or more conduit runs by clicking their
associated rows.
In the Revit ribbon, navigate to the
Augmenta tab.
Select the
Push Properties drop down in the Other Tools panel
Select the Push Properties to Conduits and Fittings button
This completes the process and will make sure that all modeled conduit pieces within the run inherit the updated parameter values from the schedule.
